Jeep Wrangler Stroller Review

An All-Weather Model Keeps Your Child Cool in Summer

The lightweight Jeep Wrangler Stroller has a mesh lining in the seat to keep your child cool during the hot summer months.

The Wrangler All-Weather is a basic model with few features, but it is an economical choice and gets the job done well.

Both summer and winter outings can be more comfortable for your little one when you use the Jeep Wrangler All-Weather. This lightweight umbrella features a seating pad that can roll up, exposing a sturdy mesh lining to create cooler airflow in the summer. The rolled up seat padding makes a comfy head rest.

The JPMA Certified Wrangler All Weather can accommodate your child up to 35 pounds and has a quick release three-point safety buckle to allow for more freedom of movement. Because there is no reclining seat, your child must be old enough to sit up unassisted before he or she can safely ride.

Jeep Wrangler Stroller Features:

Jeep Wrangler All-Weather
  • Roll-up seat padding makes a pillow and exposes mesh lining for better air circulation
  • One-handed easy fold
  • Compact fold size: 9½" x 10" x 42½"
  • Floating Sunrider canopy
  • Side cargo storage bags
  • All-terrain wheels for a smooth ride
  • Three-point safety buckle
  • Parent's cup holder
  • Ergonomic padded hand grips

For your child

It has plastic all-terrain wheels with spring loaded suspension to allow for a smoother ride. Rear lever brakes are positioned on each of the back wheels, so you will need to press down on each individually to stop.

The Jeep Wrangler stroller has a Sunrider canopy that easily rotates up and down to adjust to the sun's angle, keeping your child's face shaded.

While there isn't a storage basket beneath the seat as is common with many basic umbrella stroller, the All Weather has two side cargo bags big enough to tote a couple of extra diapers and portable wipes. Each cargo bag can hold up to four pounds each, so you can carry more in there than you think.

Just for you

Foam handle grips are comfortable because they are ergonomically designed, making your experience more pleasant. And speaking of pleasant, parents really do want a cup holder with their strollers and the Jeep Wrangler stroller provides that necessity. No need to purchase one separately!

Folding is quite easy with one hand and once the stroller is collapsed, it is a nice, compact size, leaving you plenty of room in your trunk space or for easy transport.

Jeep Wrangler Stroller Review

Parents either love this stroller or they hate it. Reviews are all over the place, giving this stroller an overall average review. At least that's not a BAD review!

Wrangler All-Weather owners give positive reviews of the maneuverability, light weight and compact easy fold. The stroller is durable, holding up to trips through the airport and outdoor festivals.

A mother from Atlanta, GA points out:
"To be honest with you, we were quite rough with ours - tossing it from the garage to back of our SUV, strolling thru parks, festivals, malls... you name it! It's sturdy enough to live through major use."

Disadvantages

By far the highest number of complaints about the Wrangler is that the handles are too short. Far too many parents have to stoop over to push the stroller and end up getting a backache after a few hours. Taller parents are simply uncomfortable pushing the Wrangler All Weather and they kick the wheels when they walk.

Many also feel this stroller has an inadequate sun canopy; it either didn't stay in place or it wasn't large enough to do an adequate job of shading.

The other serious issue that came up on more than a few reviews was the fact that the mesh lining ripped! As a parent, you want your seat fabric to be sturdy enough to safely hold your child, but parents say the material is flimsy.

Overall Rating

The Jeep Wrangler All-Weather ratings are simply average. Some web retailer sites give this stroller remarkably bad reviews, while on other sites like Amazon, the comments tend to be a bit more on the positive side.

The serious issue of the tearing fabric on the seat of the All-Weather model is so important that if this review were for this model only, it would have a one star rating. This stroller also has handles that are too short for even average height parents to feel comfortable.

On the positive side, the All-Weather stroller gets the highest praises maneuverability and light weight.

The Wrangler comes in a couple of attractive fabric patterns and color schemes and parents love the way this stroller looks. Priced at approximately $60.
