Joovy's had the Zoom out for a number of years already, but a more updated version called the Joovy Zoom Ultralight is available now. It is 10% lighter than the older version, with a more updated, better looking design. The Zoom 360 Ultralight has a smaller, 12-inch swivel front wheel with a locking option for jogging and is designed to provide smooth rides on uneven terrains, such as grass, bumpy walkways and even on sandy beaches.
Many reviews have been written online across different web retailers and the fact that this stroller gets an average 4½-star rating with consumers is amazing. Read on to discover exactly why.
You want durable quality? The Joovy Zoom 360 Ultralight is made with aircraft-grade aluminum and extremely durable 600D polyester material. The stroller is very sturdy, despite weighing only 25.7 pounds, and ready for tough and rough uses. Joseph from Austin, Texas says in his recent review that he would be comfortable riding in it at 190 pounds!
Indeed, the weight limit on the Zoom 360 Ultralight is up to 75 pounds, and is meant for kids up to about age 7. Why that old? Well, it fits kids this size because they are too young to stay home alone, and what if you still want to go out for your jog? This product is designed to hold bigger kids like that, and it will last you for years.
Rear-wheel suspension smooths the ride for your little one, making your outings pleasant. This up-to-date jogger has had a straight rear axle added, to help it run a true straight line, and that makes your workout more enjoyable when you don't have to constantly correct the direction.
Step down on a lever in back to activate the parking brake and flip it back up to go. Very easy and straight forward.
Sixteen-inch rear and 12 inch front air-filled tires adds to the suspension and smooth ride. Easily pop off the rear wheels for storage, and lock the front swivel wheel straight when jogging. Joovy includes a tire pump with purchase, which is appreciated by New Jersey mom named Natalie. She says it's one of those things you always put off buying til later, but never do.
The seat is roomy, since it must accommodate a child up to 75 pounds. The 14½-inch wide seat and high seatback at 22 inches is spacious and comfy for passengers of all sizes. The seat also sits higher than other joggers, so your child will have a great view as you go along. Small mesh pockets on either side of the seat hold sippy cups, snacks or small toys. The adjustable 5-point safety harness has an easy-to-do buckle, just push the button in and the straps pop out.
The recline is a two handed, two-sided strap recline and a mesh enclosure at the top of the seat provides extra safety and air flow, though an older kid won't be able to lay back. Babies must be 3 months old to ride without a car seat, and jogging should wait until baby is at least 6 to 8 months old. Check with your pediatrician.
Ready to at least power walk with the car seat attached? The Zoom 360 Ultralight accommodates car seats from Britax & BOB, Graco, Chicco, UPPAbaby, Maxi-Cosi, Cybex and Peg Perego with a car seat adapter sold separately and these all have "click in" functionality.
The Zoom 360 Ultralight has a huge canopy with two panels and full coverage, providing maximum sun protection. The covered peek-a-boo window lets you check in on your child. The window is not mesh, though the top of the seat when it is reclined does have a mesh enclosure allowing for air flow.
All terrain strollers and joggers both are bulky and always have been. Once folded, the Zoom 360 Ultralight is going to take up a bit of space, so make sure you have that space available in your car, closet or garage. However, for this type of stroller, it folds flat and the wheels can be removed for easier, more compact storage.
On a side note, this stroller is very easy to assemble. A northern Michigan mom said that she managed to put it together in about 15 minutes and the instructions were clear and direct.
The storage basket beneath the seat is ample enough to carry what you need, and one reviewer mentions that she likes how the sides are high enough that stuff doesn't go bouncing out.
I like the neoprene parent organizer that's included with purchase. It has two cup holders and the great thing about neoprene is that it keeps your beverage at your desired temperature. The little zippered compartment in the middle is the perfect size for your keys and phone.
Keep your essentials safe and secure, even during long, bumpy rides with a big mesh pouch behind the seat.
And lastly, the foam handle bar is 41 inches from the ground and comfortably fits most adults. A dad named Michael remarked that his 5'5" wife felt it was a bit high but usable, and it is comfortable for him at 6'1".
The Joovy official website has this product listed at a suggested retail price of $299.99 Looking around at different web retailers, I've noticed that most charge the full retail price, at the time this review was written. So with that being the case, I prefer to buy my Zoom 360 on Amazon. If you are a Prime member, it will arrive in two days. If not, you still won't have to pay shipping and is a trusted source.

Active parents everywhere who write in with their viewpoints give the newly updated Joovy Zoom 360 Ultralight 4½ stars. The main positive feedback is about the light weight, smooth ride, easy push and great value.
I read a review that makes a comparison between the Zoom 360 Ultralight and the BOB Revolution. Now the Revolution is a high-end all-terrain jogger, yet the Zoom 360 boasts most of the same features and is in the same weight category. You're going to find a lot of value going on here, so if price is a barrier to getting a BOB, then you'll be very happy with choosing Joovy Zoom.
Many parents remark at how easy assembly is, after all, once your box arrives, you don't want an intimidating task looming ahead. You've got other stuff to do!
The attractive color is mentioned in a number of reviews, and the sporty design is an overall strong positive. The canopy is also a hit with parents talking about how it covers their child effectively.
And of course the overall performance from the suspension to the easy push is mentioned in most reviews.
So far there are not many disadvantages. The couple of negative reviews were actually for the older version of this stroller. Really the only thing mentioned was the size, and for most parents who first encounter a true jogging stroller, they are usually surprised when they see how big it is. I know I was when I first saw one!
The handle might be a little high for anybody who is under 5'4".
