Zooper Waltz Stroller

Excellent Maneuverability and Ease of Use

The Zooper Waltz is the most popular stroller in the Zooper family of products, known for maneuverability and convenience.

What if you could have a stroller where everything is customized to suit your child, to fit his or her distinct preference? You want a stroller that fits you and your child's personality and that's why families absolutely love the Zooper Waltz.

The Waltz is the most popular stroller in the Zooper family, and understandably so. This lightweight, attractive stroller has some fantastic features like a super compact fold and a huge extendable sun canopy that thoroughly covers for protection.

Why should I choose Zooper?

The philosophy at Zooper is "More Than You Think," because they believe they have thought of everything a new parent worries and thinks about when they want the best for their baby. One of the most popular ways Zooper has addressed babies' needs is by including all stylish accessories with each stroller sale.

Accessories included with the Waltz are a UV sun shade, rain cover, parent cup holder, foot muff, and infant carrier security strap. You must see these accessories, they look absolutely gorgeous, especially the foot muff for cold weather that stretches across the seat. No need to spend extra money for these essentials.

This Zooper stroller is simply beautiful and everything about it clearly shows that it is a high quality stroller. The construction, fashionable fabric, and functionality of each feature is carefully developed to its highest potential. Every year Zooper updates the color schemes to reflect the changing taste of the times.

Am I going to need a PhD to put it together?

When your new Waltz arrives in the box, it is quite easy to assemble. It comes practically put together anyhow and all you have to do is insert the wheels with a click and put the sun canopies on. One mom blogger said in her review that it took her less than 10 minutes to both read the instructions and fully assemble her new Zooper. What a great way to start, wouldn't you say?

Zooper Waltz Stroller

How big is the Waltz?

For a stroller this size, the Waltz is rather lightweight at 17 pounds because the frame is made of high-strength aluminum. This material makes the Zooper more durable than many other types of strollers. Because of the frame strength, your Waltz can hold a 55 pound weight limit. That's a big kid and lots of bags!

It has a quick, flat fold for convenient storage and a carrying handle for transport. Once folded, the Waltz can stand upright on its own so you can store it anywhere you need to. Customers have commented in Zooper Waltz stroller reviews that this is one stroller that is easy to open and close.

Can a newborn ride?

Some moms don't feel they need to add a car seat since this Zooper stroller encloses their newborn so effectively, and it won't be as bulky with a seat installed. However, if you prefer a travel system, you can install your infant seat carrier with the universal security strap with select car seat brands such as Chicco, Britax and Graco.

What is the seat like?

One feature parents love is the four-position reclining seat, which can be done one-handed. Oftentimes a child will fall asleep, but to recline the seat you have to pull on drawstrings, which means pushing the seatback forward then tugging on the strings to get to the proper angle. All this jostling around can wake up your child, and as moms, we want our child to get good nap!

Smaller babies need extra head and neck support and the Zooper Waltz comes with a removable head rest to support the neck.

The seat has an adjustable leg rest. When we adults are tired we're most comfortable when we can stretch out. Children feel the same way we do. It's a fact: your child will rest better when their little legs propped up as they sleep. Smaller babies whose feet don't touch the footrest need that extra support as well.

In addition, the footrest folds and zips up to become an infant safety enclosure, creating a sort of bassinet for added peace of mind and cocoon-like security for baby.

Tell me more about this fabulous sun canopy

The fabulous individual canopies are a hit with parents; almost every Zooper Waltz review mentions this amazing feature. What is so special? The canopies come all the way down to the bumper bars and still have a viewing window so the kidlets can see outside. This is the best solution for windy days. The zip-off ventilation panel keeps the air flowing and is greatly appreciated and happy Waltz owners remark about it quite often in their reviews.

Setting up separate attachments is now no longer necessary since this all-purpose canopy does it all from shielding sunlight, UV rays, rain and wind all while providing adequate air circulation. Did I mention already that this canopy is fantastic?

Measurements:

Folded: 14"H x 21"W x 40"L
Wheelbase Width: 21"
Backrest Height: 17"
Seat Width: 13"
Handle Height: 40"
Wheels: Rear 7" Front 6" EVA Tires
Stroller Weight: 17 pounds

What kind of safety features are included?

Obviously safety is a huge concern when we choose a stroller. The Zooper Waltz comes with a padded 5-point safety harness that adjusts as your child grows. Always snug as a bug, never too loose or too tight.

Brakes are also a big deal; you depend on them to work right when you need it. The Zooper Waltz is equipped with a one-step linking brake that stops both rear wheels with one touch of the foot.

When your baby is very small and in the reclined position, Zooper has been attentive in providing an infant safety enclosure which basically keeps your child from sliding out. If you're like me, that gives such peace of mind.

Then there are the reflective accents sewn into the fabric. We've all been out at one time or another during low lighting or at night with our kids and as drivers we know it can be a challenge to see pedestrians sometimes. The reflective piping makes it that much easier for motorists and bicyclists to see you when visibility is difficult.

Maneuverability and performance

Another great feature of the Waltz is its one-handed maneuverability, along with all-wheel suspension for a smooth ride. Since this lightweight stroller is only 17 pounds, it's nearly effortless to push.

What makes it turn on a dime? The front swivel wheels which feature extra-strong die cast front wheel housings - you're not going to get any wobbling on this stroller! Need stability for going over bumpy terrain? Switch the lock on to straighten your wheels and you'll maneuver effortlessly. Several mom bloggers who received a Zooper Waltz to review had specifically mentioned that they can steer this stroller one-handed.

All-wheel suspension makes the ride smooth and easy going, great for the times you need to rush to get somewhere. At least your kids can just sit back and enjoy the ride... just think about it.

So what about the parents? What do we get?

This all sounds absolutely wonderful, so far, don't you think? But you're probably wondering what you get to enjoy as you use a Zooper Waltz. Well you're certainly remembered with thoughtful features that make the Waltz a pleasure for parents to handle.

The first accessory you get is a cup holder. I can't tell you how many strollers don't fill this important need - it is the #1 complaint from consumers when one's not included.

Plentiful storage

Another feature you will appreciate is the ample storage basket beneath the seat. Even with the seat fully reclined, you can still access your belongings because the sides unzip. See? You CAN get what you want, when you want it!

Still want some more storage? You got it. Those fabulous sun canopy I mentioned earlier also come with storage pockets. Keep easily accessible things in it such as snacks, extra diapers and wipes. Moms have said in more than one review how much they appreciate this extra bit of storage space you could use in a pinch. Are you beginning to notice how attentive Zooper is to all these details?

What accessories are included?

I love the modern look the accessories give the Waltz. The accessories are a big selling point in the price of this stroller, because you get lots of wonderful add-ons for no extra cost. In addition to the Waltz, your purchase includes a matching sleeping bag leg cover (boot) for cold weather, rain cover and parent cup holder.

How much should I pay for a Zooper Waltz?

Most online retailers charge about the same price for the current model year, which is around $299. Merchants like Stroller Depot and Baby Earth charge the same but offer free shipping.

What others have to say

The Zooper Waltz has very high ratings across web retailers and has gotten average 4-star reviews.

I saw a blog review of the Waltz and the author mentioned how amazed she is with her Zooper stroller the more she loves it and she's extremely impressed with all the features.

Happy owners comment numerous times on Zooper Waltz reviews that it has superb one-handed maneuverability and the light weight is very much appreciated.

A dad named Joe remarks how it's perfect for going shopping and taking into stores. He mentions the light weight, small size and nice maneuverability.
One mom blogger says of the handle, "It's higher than any I have used and is also at a great height for my tall husband!"

The versatile canopy is a highlight for parents who have purchased the Waltz. They love the fact that it comes all the way down to the snack tray and has a sort of sky light for their child as well as a zippered ventilation panel to circulate some fresh air.

And of course, this Zooper stroller is eye-catching. It has all the bells and whistles and looks absolutely fantastic, which is exactly what parents want when they're considering a Zooper. It certainly has a "cool factor," and mothers don't hesitate to say they are constantly complimented on their Waltz when they're out and about.

A pleased mother from Missisippi remarks in her review that she gets many compliments on her Waltz. She says it's as compact as an umbrella stroller, but has all the full-size stroller advantages.

Disadvantages

Earlier in the year, Zooper had a recall of their strollers because the space between the snack tray and the seat was too wide. Children can slip down between the two and get their heads stuck, causing injury or worse. Zooper has since fixed this gap and now meet the minimum measurement requirements that allow a child's head to pass through. This page on the official site shows their fixes to this issue.

While the Zooper Waltz has gotten near-perfect reviews, there are a few reported disadvantages with this stroller.

Some reviewers have remarked that the wheels can become slightly squeaky, however they still run smoothly. Another mom pointed out that the zippers can be difficult to grasp and she didn't like that the center strap of the safety harness that comes up between baby's legs was not adjustable, and would be useful as baby grows.

The worst review was only three-stars despite the fact that this parent had been reclining the seat "when the cable snapped." Unfortunately she had no recourse because of the warrantee details, so read your warrantee carefully when you get your stroller or contact customer support.

See this informative video demonstration of the Zooper Waltz. While it is not for this year's model, the features are still the same and it's my favorite video demo currently out there:

Where can I buy the Zooper Waltz?

The best place to purchase the Waltz and get a good price on it is on either with Stroller Depot or Baby Earth. Both merchants have strollers that are post recall and offer free shipping.

Just imagine the excitement you will feel when that big box finally arrives and your little one eagerly climbs on board. You're going to get lots of compliments on it too, because the Zooper Waltz is exceptionally beautiful.
