The option of a locking front swivel wheel gives you maneuverability while walking or stability when it’s in the locked position during a jog or going over some rough terrain. The safety strap keeps you in contact with your stroller at all times and that provides much peace of mind.

Bring your baby out into the world by attaching the car seat to your Baby Trend jogging stroller and turn it into a travel system. You won’t be able to jog with the car seat in place for safety reasons for your baby, but walking is still good exercise and you’ll feel fantastic.

Each Baby Trend jogging stroller has a recommended minimum age of 6 months for your baby to ride without the infant car seat and the maximum weight for your child to ride is 50 pounds.

Baby Trend offers single and double joggers and all of them share some of the same features. Let’s take a look at them now or if you’re shopping for a doubleclick to go straight there.

Baby Trend Jogging Stroller Common Features

Single Baby Trend Jogging Stroller

Expedition

Sale
Baby Trend Expedition Jogger Stroller, Bubble Gum
  • Lockable front swivel wheel for ease of maneuverability
  • All-terrain bicycle tires
  • Convenient parent tray includes 2 cup holders and covered compartment storage

This is a great stroller for taking brisk walks in the park and while it is the most basic model of the Baby Trend 3-wheelers, it is also the most popular because it has been around for years. Parents recommend the Expedition for the affordable price and the sporty look.

It goes over a variety of surfaces such as dirt trails and roads, cracked sidewalks, gravel and bike trails with ease because of the nice-sized 16″ wheels.

Most parents who get this stroller are not serious runners or avid joggers, but they do like getting out for brisk walks. The swivel feature on the front tire is a must for maneuverability, but for those who do prefer to jog, then the front tire can lock straight for stability during the ride. The Expedition is also popular as a travel system and if you have two children, it is available as a double.

The Expedition has had some problems in the past with its wobbly wheel, leading to mixed reviews across web retailers. However, the problem seems to have been corrected as of late, and even Consumer Reports gives this budget all terrain stroller an excellent rating.

Stealth

Baby Trend Stealth Jogging Stroller, Alloy
  • Lockable front swivel wheel, Large 16-inch rear bicycle tires
  • Removable bumper bar that Swings away, accepts Baby Trend Infant Car Seat
  • 5-point safety harness with soft harness cover

The Stealth has a sleeker design than the Expedition with a lightweight aluminum frame in black, and premium padded seat in black, the colorful sun canopy adds a sporty pop.

I like the wheels on this model – front swivel wheel that locks straight for jogging, and large rear 16-inch bicycle-style tires for super-smooth rides.

While there is no child’s tray on this Baby Trend jogging stroller, a swing-away bumper bar comes with it, for easy ins and outs, plus it fits the Flex Loc car seat for as a travel system. Click the link under the photo to see color choices!

Shield your child from the sun with the colorful adjustable sun canopy that reaches almost to the bumper bar when fully extended. Keep an eye on your passenger with the peek-a-boo window at the top. The seat has a multi-position recline and open-air top for good circulation.

Parents, you get a cup holder in the middle of the handle bar, and for some, that’s not enough. Buy a stroller organizer to fit the smaller things you need to bring with you like your phone.  The basket is large and holds all your other baby essentials.

Folding the Baby Trend jogging stroller is a simple two-handed process that collapses the frame and it has a frame-lock to hold it together. Remove the wheels and bumper bar to save space.

Not many Baby Trend Stealth reviews yet, but the few that are out there give it high marks for the quality materials, smooth ride and sporty design.

Xcel

Baby Trend Xcel Jogger Stroller, Mosiac Blue
  • Large bicycle tires roll effortlessly over all surfaces
  • Accepts all Baby Trend infant car seat models
  • Front Swivel Wheel for easy maneuvering, locks for jogging

The Xcel is kind of in between the Expedition and the Stealth. It has the sporty look with the black frame and tires, but with the child’s snack tray.

This Baby Trend jogging stroller weighs 28 pounds and it has a multi-position strap recline on the padded seat. An adjustable 5-point safety harness grows with your child and the top of the seat has a mesh enclosure when reclined, which adds some peace of mind.

Like all Baby Trend strollers, the Xcel accepts a Flex Loc car seat right onto the the child’s tray. Three rubber air-filled tires gives your baby a smooth ride and great maneuvering.

The sun canopy is better on the Stealth, but it’s adequate – no complaints – on the Xcel. This canopy ratchets forward and backward to block the sun as needed, and it comes with a large mesh peek-a-boo window.

Parents, you get a single cup holder, but if that isn’t enough, get the stroller organizer I mentioned in the Stealth review above. The handle is ergonomically designed and high enough for most adults’ strolling comfort. A large storage basket holds whatever else you need. I like the added safety reflectors by the footrests for low light visibility and safety tether to keep your stroller with you at all times.

Again, few reviews at the time of writing, but so far it’s all very high ratings for excellent maneuvering, easy fold, and great value for the price.

Range

Sale
Baby Trend Range Jogger Stroller, Millennium
  • Lockable front swivel wheel for ease of maneuverability
  • All-terrain composite tires
  • Convenient parent tray includes two cup holders and covered compartment storage

This particular Baby Trend jogging stroller is the most economical in the product line at less than $100 at the time of writing. A stroller like this even a few years ago would certainly be at least $20-30 more.

It is a real deal with all the basic features you want in a budget all-terrain stroller, such as a child’s snack tray, parent console and large storage basket.

This stroller weighs 27 pounds, which is average for an all-terrain, and it holds your child up to 50 pounds or 42 inches tall. The padded seat has a multi-position strap recline, and adjustable 5-point harness and a safety tether for constant contact. Your child is protected from the sun with a decent-size sun canopy that has a large peek-a-boo window.

The Range sports 16-inch rear tires and a locking front swivel wheel, all air-filled for a smooth ride. Out of dozens of reviews, though, there are a few that mention a wobbly front tire that is also difficult to pump because of the rims. This seems to be the main (and only) complaint. A vast majority of consumers love their Range for its overall functionality and it has very high ratings on average.

Baby Trend Double Jogging Strollers

Expedition Double Jogger

Sale
Baby Trend Expedition Double Jogger Stroller, Elixer
  • Quick release wheels for storage and travel
  • Lockable front swivel wheel
  • Ratcheting shade canopy with peek-a-boo window

The Baby Trend Expedition double jogging stroller is a popular choice for parents with two children who want to get outdoors and have access to various terrain, yet provide a smooth ride for their children. Like the Velocity single stroller, the Expedition double stroller has an MP3 hook-up with speakers so you can enjoy your music with your kids during your outing.

The Expedition double stroller has had solidly high reviews over the years. Parents love that they can take it over all types of terrain smoothly with the swivel wheel and large tires. Expedition owners remark that it is easy to assemble and easy to fold and remove the tires for more compact storage. A few have commented that they love the big sun canopy. Kids find it fun and comfortable to ride in, too. And another huge selling point is the inexpensive price compared with other double jogging strollers.

Some of the disadvantages are with a wobbly front wheel, but now parents have caught onto the trick of tightening the nut over the wheel and making sure all nuts and bolts securing the tire are securely fastened and it seems to do the job. The other trick is to just lock the swivel wheel straight, which isn’t a satisfying solution for many.

Another issue is that this Baby Trend jogging stroller can sometimes be too wide to go through some doorways, which has caused a few moms to have to bypass shopping they wanted to do because they couldn’t go inside. Here are the measurements for an unfolded Expedition double: 31½”W x 46″L x 42″H. It weighs 32½ pounds.

Children can weigh up to 50 pounds each and be as tall as 42″ to ride safely.

But overall, impressions of the double Expedition are highly positive, with 52% of reviews giving it 5 stars, which is actually quite good. Parents like the ample storage space, the comfortable reclining seats and large sun canopy.

Navigator

Sale
Baby Trend Navigator Double Jogger Stroller, Tropic
  • Locking front swivel wheels
  • Pneumatic bicycle tires
  • Ratcheting shade canopies

The Baby Trend Navigator double jogging stroller is a dream come true for parents with twins because it accommodates two  infant car seats. It is the only jogging stroller in the Baby Trend line that has four wheels providing additional stability when you have the two infant car seats in use. (See more strollers for twins.)

The two wheels in the front are the same 12-inch size and they also swivel for maximum maneuverability, but also have the locking option. The 16-inch pneumatic bicycle tires are in the back which provides a smooth ride over various terrain.

This model has the popular MP3 hook-up with speakers, enabling you to take along your favorite music during your outing. The Navigator has two children’s snack trays with drink holders and these snack trays serve as the support for the child carriers. It also includes all of the Common Features as listed earlier such as multi-position reclining seats and plenty of storage space.

The main drawback is that this is a whale of a stroller that weighs 43 pounds. Add the weight of your children (up to 50 pounds each) and you’ve got a huge amount of weight to push and steer. The bulkiness and wide width makes it difficult to get through some doorways and awkward in more crowded areas.

The Navigator’s unfolded measurements are as follows: 32½”W x 46″L x 43″H
